MEET THE BEST ACTRESS IN THE WORLD, THE UNUSUAL TV WITCH

If you have watched the movie Mr. and Mrs, Phone Swap and Kiss & Tell, you definitely be hungry to know more about that chocolate, gorgeous and overwhelming lady. By her distinction, I have no doubt you know exactly who am talking about. She is the beauty that acted Susan in the blockbuster movie, MR AND MRS and yes tongue wagged, minds were marvelled for a one of a kind art-craft.
She is no other person but Nse Ikpe-Etim. She is the first of six children...
She was born on 21 October, 1974 in her home- state, Akwa Ibom. Due to her father’s frequent transfers as a staff of Central bank of Nigeria, Nse changed schools many times.

She attended Awa Nursery School, Kaduna; Command Children's School, Jos; St Louis College, Jos; Federal Government College (Jos and Ilorin). While in secondary school, she was actively involved in sports (Basketball and Volleyball) and social activities; and was known for her eloquence, dedication and determination. Nse had her Television break at the age of 18 when she acted in a family soap ‘Inheritance’ on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). She graduated from the University of Calabar where she studied theater arts and gave outstanding performances on stage. The Plays she acted in include Anowa by Ama Ata Aidoo, Marriage Of Anansewa by Efua Sutherland, Child International by Wole Soyinka, Milikin Mata by Harry Hagher to name a few. Towards the end of 2011, she wowed the audience in yet another award winning stage play 'Same Page'.
After graduating from the University of Calabar, Nse had a brief stint in the banking sector. Due to her love and passion for fashion, she was briefly involved in the fashion industry. She also worked in the media briefly as an On-Air- Personality for Rhythm and Cool Fm.
Her comeback movie 'Reloaded' where she played the role of omoze, earned her a nomination in the African Movie Academy Awards. Her career soared right after reloaded became a hit.
As a common saying goes ‘’great reward must follow hardwork’’, between 2009 and 2014 Nse had the following top-notch awards and nominations: Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) 5th and 8th Edition (Best Actress in a leading role); 2014 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Award (Best Actress in a Drama); 2009 Best of Nollywood Awards (Revelation of the year (Female)); ZAFAA Awards (Best actress in a supporting role); 2010 Best of Nollywood Awards (Best Actress in a leading role); The Eloy Awards (Actress of the year); 2012 Nigeria Entertainment Awards (Best Lead actress); 2013 City people Entertainment Awards (Best Actress of the year) and a nomination in the 2014 Golden Icon Academy Movie Awards. .has Little wonder why she is dearly loved in the film industry.
Recently in 2015, Nse featured in an interesting 4-cast movie ‘’The Visit’’. One thing that stood out in Nse is that the amazing and versatile actress takes her time to internalize her role and become exactly her character. Notwithstanding that she described herself as 'an ardent student of Stanislavski', Nse is a fan of Manchester United FC. In her spare time, she loves to read, write, cook, watch football and play scrabble.
In January 2013, Nse Ikpe Etim got engaged to Clifford Sule her childhood friend and a senior lecturer with the Middlesex University, UK. On Valentine’s Day, February 14th 2013, the cute couple tied the knots in a civil ceremony at a registry in Lagos. Nse Ikpe-Etim is an actress, a writer, professional chef and a lover of arts.
