As first official visit to the North East, Senate President, Bukola Saraki visits the den of bokoharam, Maiduguri, in the early hours of today in company of some top-notch principal officers of the senate.
During the visit which was intended to assess the level of damage that the bokoharam insurgency has done to the country, the Senate President was shocked by the extent to which the erstwhile economic city of Maiduguri had been reduced to mere rubble by the heinous activities of BokoHaram.
He though plegded continued support of the senate at containing the insurgents but he clearly admitted that the task and conquest will take great effort, commitment and time.
